Saturday so far

I turned off the computer at 11:30 p.m. and went to bed a little before 1:00 a.m.  I tried to sleep for three hours, then got up and read some of Callie's Glee essays and first reaction posts.  I don't mind when she hates on Rachel, and I didn't mind when she hated on Finn.  The last couple of reaction posts, she's been hating on Blaine.  Blaine isn't a violent and prejudiced person like Finn was.  Blaine gets angry, but he doesn't get into fights the same way Finn did.  Many of those who like Rachel say that Blaine's just like Rachel.  Blaine usually has much better manners and a concern for other people's feelings that Rachel doesn't have.

I tried to go to sleep again around 4:30 a.m., and that didn't work either.  I finally took a couple of Benedryl at 6:00 a.m. or so, and eventually drifted off.   Once the Benedryl kicks in, it really kicks in.  I got up at 2:30 pm., so I figure I got about seven hours of sleep.

I didn't do anything particularly useful during the remainder of the day.  Mom and I watched episode 6x3 of Glee.  I went out for dinner.  I got wonton soup because I thought it would be a good day for hot soup.  We also had egg foo young and shrimp with snow peas.  After dinner, I had mulled cider.  I figured that would be nice and warm, too.

The second season of "The Musketeers" premieres on BBC America tonight. It's three episodes behind BBC One.

Later: I watched the first episode of season two of "The Musketeers."  A lot happened.  The cardinal died.  The Musketeers rescued the treacherous Comte de Rochefort and later General de Foix and his sister Lucie.  Santiago Cabrera got to use his Spanish.  I don't remember Aramis in the book speaking Spanish, just French and church Latin, but they're using the abilities the actors have.  I'm sure they're using the fact that Howard Charles knows boxing.  Treville and General de Foix know who Porthos' father is.  Aramis found out that Adele Bissette was dead.  Aramis was very interested in the Dauphin.  Constance is the queen's maid now, like she was in the book.  I am afraid for her.  That episode was quite the adventure, and set up a lot for subsequent episodes.

I chatted a bit about it with WhiteSheepCBD.
