I got lots of free books. I read the MLR novella. The ARe one was Loose Id, but the heroine was called "bratty" in the blurb. I read the first chapter. The heroine was a virgin, and her forceful but neglectful boyfriend is going to teach her all about BDSM. I wonder if it's a Fifty Shades fan fiction with the characters changed to original characters.
The other free books I got were from belatedly going over what readers had put in the comments on the Nook blog's Free Fridays page. Quite a few were still free. I think all of the self-published mysteries were still free a couple of days later, and several of the romances were. I didn't get all of them, but I got some that sounded good. I got some of the self-published ones in multi-format from Smashwords. I have to look and see if you can get books directly from Draft2Digital, or if they're just sold as Nook and Kindle books.
I checked to see if the Harlequin holiday thing was a free book today. It was a considerable discount on a series or a particular author's books, but you can get them in the library.
I chatted a little with Jules. I arranged to chat with A.
Later: I talked with A. I gave him a bunch of books as gifts from ARe, and told him about the MLR books. He got today's free one. Several upcoming ones are mysteries. I said which authors were well-known.
