I looked through the Logee's catalogs I had. I had looked on their website last night. There were several plants I marked as "wish list" things in the catalogs. I have the Holiday 2014 catalog. The 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine didn't take too well to being transplanted to a pot. I think it got dried out. I may be getting a new 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine. The 'Grand Duke of Tuscany' jasmine looks okay, and the royal jasmine (Jasminium nitidum). The 'Revolutum' yellow jasmines look okay, but they're in places where they're not getting much light. I want to get a little balsam fir Christmas tree.
Later: I took some dead leaves off the 'Grand Duke of Tuscany' jasmine, and noticed cotton-like matter attached to the leaves. I went to Home Depot and got organic insecticidal/fungal spray safe for houseplants. The spray had sulfur in it, so I took the plant out to the garage to spray it. Dad had sprayed the plants with insecticide before we brought them in, but I guess he didn't get the undersides of the leaves.
I also got a 'Red Lion' amaryllis at Home Depot. It did not come in a decorative tin pot like the ones from Logee's do, but it was also a small fraction of the cost of them, with no shipping. Home Depot also has wee little pine trees for $10, and then on up to decorated large trees.
I made a brief trip to the grocery store. I saw P. She said Ms. F. was out of the hospital.
It's the Friday Night Friends group tonight. We're scheduled for a night in.
Later still: I went to the Y around 4:00 p.m. I walked on the treadmill for a little while. The night in started with using basketballs. We tried to make baskets. It turned out I was around the same coordination level as some of the other women. We went to the weight room next, and I walked on the treadmill more. We watched a movie, Garfield. It was a mix of an animated cat and live action other characters. E. wasn't there, but YMCA-P. and A.J. were. It wasn't a bad night. I liked the Christmas village better. Next time is pottery.
