Friday so far

I went to bed around 1:00 a.m.  It took me a while to get to sleep, but not terribly long.  I woke up at 7:15 a.m. for no apparent reason.  I went back to sleep until 9:30 a.m.

I got the previous two novellas in a series to the one that's my editing job now.  I'll read them today, and work on the editing job.

I am thinking of going swimming at the Y in the late morning.  Tonight is the haunted hayride and campfire.  It should be fun.

A few hours later: I went swimming.

Dad and I went to the podiatrist.  My feet were good.  Dad had a couple of minor issues and is getting new orthotic devices.

I made bruschetta.  The basil plant had grown more than a foot tall.  The bottom of the stem looked like a trunk.  I broke off the top at a place just above where it could branch out.

I keep forgetting to note that the colchicum is blooming.  It's a single lavender one.

Later: We had the hayride.  Nothing haunting about it.  We sang songs at the campfire.  I'd brought three flashlights, which came in handy.

WhiteSheepCBD texted me to let me know that Rainjoy had posted a new chapter.
