I took some Advil and watched "The Avengers." I took that and "Philomena" back to the library. I made a quick stop at the grocery store. Z. said hi, and I said we should go to a Goodwill and go shopping, like we've done a couple of times. I told her about "The Musketeers," how Porthos is biracial like Alexandre Dumas was. I said that Porthos was a well-rounded character, that he's badass but also has a lot of feelings. Z. thought P. would like it, too.
I went to the YMCA. I swam a bit, and went to the weight room. I did some of the exercises for my knee, worked on a couple of the machines, and walked on the treadmill a little. I had forgotten my e-reader, though.
I texted with WhiteSheepCBD a bit.
The first chapter of Riah's book came out today. It's free. http://store.interludepress.com/collections/consent/products/load-the-dice-episode-1-blind-bet-ebook I told Jamie, TallCR, PaperMoon, and the folks on the Goodreads Backlot forum generally. I described it as sweet BDSM erotica.
I reproduced a bit of my part of a chat conversation with WhiteSheepCBD on Tumblr. We were saying we thought "The Musketeers" behind-the-scenes clip "The Seductive Stare" was funny. http://www.bbcamerica.com/musketeers/videos/insider-the-seductive-stare/ I particularly like when Howard Charles says, "You got to pay for that."
I commented on the actors wearing mufti.
Me: "And instead of leather, they're wearing sweaters."
Me: "Yeah, it's harder to look badass when you're wearing a cardigan."
WhiteSheepCBD said that that was quotable. I'm not quite as self-indulgent on my Tumblr as I am on my LiveJournal, but I am self-indulgent enough.
Later: WhiteSheepCBD and I chatted some more.
Later still: I rewatched episode nine of "The Musketeers."
