Friday so far

I turned off the computer around 11:00 p.m., and lay down around 12:30 a.m.  I couldn't get to sleep.  I remember being up at 3:30 a.m.  I must have finally drifted off.  I got up a little before noon.

I looked at the Free Friday Nook book.  It was one with a zombie protagonist.  I got it because I thought Dad might like it.  One commenter, "Spec," who regularly posts lists of more free books, posted a bunch of romances in among the list.  One was a m/m romance.  It must have missed his or her notice that it was m/m.  Apparently Samhain is doing a lot of "free first book in the series" promos.  They had books by Moira Rogers and Shelli Stevens for free.  "From the Ashes" by Daisy Harris was the free m/m one.

I went to the YMCA.  I thought about going swimming, but it was very cloudy and humid.  I went to the weight room, and the person on duty helped me with adjusting the elliptical to my height.  I did just very light weights, and a few minutes on the treadmill.  At least I got out of the house, so that was good.

Later: WhiteSheepCBD asked if I had watched the Three Musketeers movie yet.  I said that I had told Dad on Monday morning that it was Doctor Who week on BBC America, and that we'd been watching Doctor Who ever since.

I chatted with Codeman a little, but he was doing five other things.  He interrupted my talk about e-books to say that his own random obsessive thing was a new videogame he'd gotten.  I said that talking about books wasn't a random obsessive thing for me, that it was shop talk.

I chatted with WhiteSheepCBD for a bit.
