Thursday so far

I turned off the computer at 11:30 p.m.  I sat up for a little bit, but I was very tired, and lay down at 12:15 a.m. or so.  I couldn't sleep.  I drank Alka-Seltzer because my stomach wasn't good.  I took Benedryl around 2:30 a.m., I think.  I don't know when I fell asleep.  My alarm went off, but I turned it off and went back to sleep until 11:00 a.m.

I went to my weight room orientation at the YMCA at 1:00 p.m.  The supervisor(?) there gave me a tour.  I learned about various of the machines.  I walked on the treadmill for a little bit.  It was fun.

Giovanni's Room will be reopening.  I am excited.

Slightly later: J. and I dropped my car off at Firestone.  The service engine light had been going on and off.  They were going to do an oil change.

We went to a grocery store.

When we got home, I looked around outside.  The 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine had a couple more buds.  The cardinal flower was blooming.  I didn't know we still had cardinal flower.  There were a couple of plants on the other side of the drainpipe from the back door.  There was spearmint and lemon balm there, too.  Cardinal flower is one of the plants that's supposed to attract hummingbirds.

Later: We picked up my car.  I am glad that is done.

Dear Author's Daily Deals featured a free novella, so I got that.  There was another deal on a romance with a librarian protagonist by Pamela Morsi, Love Overdue.  That was at the library.

Later still: J. headed back to Baltimore.
