Sunday so far

I turned the computer off around 11:00 p.m. and sat up reading until 1:00 a.m.  I didn't feel terribly tired, but I lay down, and I don't think it took me long to get to sleep.  I got up at 10:00 a.m.

I had written to Callie about "The Musketeers."  She said the DVDs were available in Australia, but the show hadn't been on for free yet.  That surprised me, as I would think it would reach the Commonwealth countries before getting to the U.S.  Apparently not.  Of course, she had read The Three Musketeers.  She thought Eminence sounded interesting, too.

Callie said that her impression was that there weren't many people of color in leading drama roles on UK TV, which she watched more of than U.S. TV.  She mentioned there being a few indigenous people as leads on TV shows in Australia.  I don't know if Aboriginal is no longer the right term, but I will ask.  I can't think of a Native American lead character on U.S. network scripted TV, but I don't watch much TV.  I can think of a few Hispanic characters who have been major characters on U.S. network TV shows, and then there are the Spanish channels.

I will write about "The Musketeers" after it airs.

A few hours later: Mom and I went to the local T-Mobile store.  Mom asked a couple of questions.  She really wants to switch from AT&T to another phone company.  We went to a grocery store.  It had rained earlier in the day, but got sunnier and hotter while we were out.

I looked around a little outside.  The 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine has a few more buds.  It has really grown since I planted it.  Well, for a slow-growing plant it has really grown.  It's about twice the size it was when I planted it in the raised bed.

I saw an article both Colton and Kay had reblogged about Luke Cage.  http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=54868 One of his powers is that he's bulletproof.  It was an interesting article.

There's an "Old Glee Fic Fest."  I said "For All of the Things We're Not," "Naked Around You," "No Envy, No Fear," "Scholars and Gentlemen" and FicDirectory's older fic.  Someone linked to a fic in the Fix!Verse.  I should have thought of that.

I watched "The Musketeers."  I have a lot of feelings.  Athos is badass.  I knew that in real life, Queen Anne had had a miscarriage.  A lot must go on in the tenth episode.  I hope they don't leave it on a cliffhanger.  I am assuming all the Musketeers survive, since the actors have long-term contracts.
