Thursday

I went to bed around 12:30 a.m., but didn't get to sleep for a long time.  I woke at 10:00 a.m., with my alarm, did a few morning things, and lay back down for ten minutes, until 10:30 a.m.  I had breakfast, then lay down again.  I got up at 11:45 a.m.  At least I hadn't slept through until then.

I finally went to get a haircut, as I'd been wanting to do for quite some time.  I was tired of my hair getting in my eyes, so I got bangs.  I hadn't had bangs since I was a child.  I got it dyed red, which is the color I like.  It's a dark auburn, but it will fade a little over the next few days.

Jax said on the Goodreads Backlot Gay Books forum that a Dreamspinner Press book was free today as a Kindle book.  Usually I miss when she posts those, but not this time.  I looked on Dear Author, and they had a couple of free books, too.  One was a Samhain book, and it was free on the Samhain website.  It was free on ARe, too, so I gave some copies as gifts.  That's the best, when I can loan the Nook and Kindle books, and give them as gifts from ARe.

I looked around outside.  It looks like the 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine is done blooming, but the yellow jasmine ('Revolutum') has a bud.  The tiger lilies still look good.  The white heliotrope is still blooming.

Later:

I did laundry.

I chatted with Riah for a bit.

I chatted with Jamie for a little bit.

I chatted with Codeman.
