Sunday so far

I went to bed around 1:30 a.m., but didn't get to sleep for a long time.  I briefly got up at 2:30 a.m., but tried again to get to sleep.  My alarm went off at 10 a.m., but I went back to sleep until 10:45 a.m.  I really should have gotten up at 10 a.m.  I was doing better for a while there.

I went out to see the flowers.  The sambac jasmine has a few more buds, but no flowers open today.  The tiger lilies look good.  I should get more pictures of them.

I chatted with Jamie for a bit.

I listened to yesterday's Lima Heights Adjacent podcast.  It was #5 in the Top Ten Favorites.  It was "Dynamic Duets."  I may have voted for that.  It was up there among my favorite episodes.  Mom didn't care for it, but she's not into superheroes like I am.  The people on the podcast all liked Blaine, so that was nice.  They spent their fair share of time talking about the other characters, too.

There's a new episode of "The Musketeers" tonight.  I am looking forward to that.

I spoke to K. for a while.  She and J. babysat her niece and nephew last night.  They're toddlers, and it sounded like they'd been a handful.  K. was tired, but otherwise okay.  She was sorry we hadn't come to visit them, but I said maybe next week.

I texted a bit with J.-PA.  She said her grocery store was very busy.

I asked A. if he wanted to chat tonight, after "The Musketeers."  He said that would work.

I chatted with Jules for a couple of minutes, but she was watching the end of the Commonwealth Games and then heading to bed, because it was near 11:00 p.m. in England, or at least her time zone of the U.K.

Later: I watched "The Musketeers."  The Comtesse Ninon de la Roque (sp?) was trying to educate other women, and was accused of being a lesbian and a witch.  Milady de Winter was in her circle under another name, and accused Ninon of these things.  Athos yelled in court that Milady de Winter was a liar and a criminal, but didn't explain to the other Musketeers that she'd been the Comtesse de la Fere.  The papal nuncio tried to kill the Cardinal de Richelieu, and Aramis saved him.  It wasn't just stitching up Porthos' injury.  Aramis knows as much medicine as some doctors of the day.  D'Artagnon told Constance that he loved her.  So much cheating in "The Musketeers."  I liked the episode.

A. and I talked for about an hour.  He caught me up on the events of his friend's birthday party.  I told him about going to Baltimore.  My week was still quieter than his had been, so it seemed.
