S.M. wanted to meet up with me, but she let her cell phone run out of minutes, so I can't call her while she's out. She'll be in the area, too. She said she'd be at the grocery store where I go nearly every day. Hopefully we'll get together at some point.
I have an editing job to work on. I said I'd turn it in by tomorrow, but it's less than 40 pages, so I can probably turn it in today. I've read the previous two stories in the series.
Mom had some kind of outpatient thing with her eye in the early morning. It was subsequent to her cataract removals and somehow related.
Later: Mom and I went out and about. We went to the library, and I got The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo by Tom Reiss. It's about Thomas-Alexandre Dumas, Alexandre Dumas' father.
We went to Wal-Mart, and got various things. We had been talking the other day about getting something there, but neither of us could remember what.
After we got home, I worked on my editing job. I just want to read over it one more time before I turn it in.
I got the free Nook book for the day, and a couple of others that commenters listed as free.
I heard again from the person who wants to write a World War II Klaine fic. I had said I didn't want to read major character death, but I may be able to deal. She assured me it wouldn't have too much gore or torture. We shall see.
Later still: I read more fic, and then chatted with Jamie for a while.
