Wednesday so far

I went to bed around 1:00 a.m., I think.  I woke around 4:30 a.m., but went back to sleep fairly quickly.  I woke up again a little before 10:00 a.m., and felt like I'd gotten a good night's sleep.

I watched some more of the Interlude Press Launch Party videos.  Yesterday, I turned off the computer at 11:00 p.m.   Keeping to a regular schedule seems to be good for me.  I watched the 2014 title announcements and the 2015 ones.  As girliesportsjunkie said, "Sotto Voce" was not a big surprise, that a lot of people had guessed that.  Stoney321's may have already been announced.  I think a lot of people had read the fan fiction.  It was "The Bones of You."  Knittywriter's is "Right Here Waiting," which I'd read as the fan fiction.

Yesterday, I watched the video of 2015 authors with books that couldn't be announced yet, because Interlude Press did not yet have the manuscript of the reworked books.  I'll bet wordplaying's is the AV 'Verse.  As I speculated earlier, my guess is that PreciousMellow's will be Lovesong.  I think Chazzam's is likely to be "The Sidhe," which I haven't read yet, but have heard a lot about.  My guess is that Zavocado's will be "Go Your Own Way."  Glitterdammerung's could be a couple.  They said that "Right Here Waiting" was the only historical, so it's probably "Nothing's So Loud."  Sometime maybe they'll do "Velvet Petals, Piercing Thorns."  Since I have nothing to do with any of that, I feel free to speculate.

The original fiction ones sounded interesting.  Dontbefanci, who wrote "Angel in a Red Vest," is writing an original m/m novel.  Januarium is writing a lesbian Domme/sub one.  Anxioussquirrel is writing an original book.

It's very hot out today.  I went out briefly to pick a flower off the 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine.

Later: I watched the video with the making of the cover art for Interlude Press books.  Buckeyegrrl is the graphic designer, and she worked with artists and photographers.  Pencilpushingenthusiast was one of the artists.  The covers I've seen so far are lovely covers.

Slightly later than that: I saw that Rainjoy had put up a new chapter of the Affinity!Verse.  A thunderstorm was starting, so I quickly printed it out the chapter and turned off the computer.  It was another chapter where the characters didn't do much besides talk and have feelings, but a lot of the book was dialogue.  There's UST between Aramis and Athos.  It's kind of a Gay for You on Athos' part.  Athos went to an all boys' British public school, which I think would be called a private school in the U.S., and he was never attracted to a man before Aramis.

I'm trying to get used to Rainjoy's slow pace again, when the show is so much action-adventure.  Now it's been more than 400 pages of the Affinity!Verse, and no d'Artagnan yet.  At least it was going forward in time this chapter.  I am enjoying Rainjoy's fic, but now I am waiting for the action-adventure to happen in the Affinity!Verse.  There's been some, but the protagonists have no idea of who's trying to kill affinities.
