Tuesday so far

I turned the computer off at 11:00 p.m.  Interlude Press started their launch party at midnight, but I would have been a wreck if I had stayed up all night.  I got up a little before 10:00 a.m.  I remembered during breakfast that there would be a video for the 10:00 a.m. section of the launch party, but decided to watch it when it was finished.

I watched the first two videos.  The third wasn't up.  That was the pre-recorded one.  If I don't see it up somewhere soon, I'll ask Axe where it is.  I skipped to the sixth, the one with Riah (lurkdusoleil).  Her story will be a serial, and is in the erotica imprint of Interlude Press, Consent.  The first part of the serial is free.  I had wondered if Riah's story would be BDSM, and it is.  She had three short fics in the "Load the Dice" series, and it has been changed from fic to original work and expanded into novel-length.

I went out to smell the flowers somewhere between videos.  The 'Maid of Orleans' jasmine has a few more flowers open.

Later: I watched the fourth video.  I found the third later, and watched that.  Apparently Axe's real name is Carrie.  I watched a couple of the videos live, the one that was on late afternoon and the one that was the early evening.  I think the host of most of the videos, Girliesportsjunkie(?), will be really feeling it by the time she's been up for twenty-four hours.

Mom and I went out to Wal-Mart.

I watched some more of the Interlude Press Launch Party videos.  I was very excited to hear that PreciousMellow is going to be an author with Interlude Press.  She can't say what book yet, but they did say it was a reworking of a fan fiction.  Unless "Watercolor Hearts" is going to be greatly expanded, my guess is that it's the Lovesong 'Verse.

I read the first fifty pages or so of the fanfiction version of "Sotto Voce," which I had on my e-reader.  Girliesportsjunkie said she'd been an editor, but said during the launch party that she found out that she couldn't spell "judgment."  She put an extra "e" in.  Also I saw some other spelling things, a few wrong homonyms and some typos.  I'm sure those have been fixed in the book.
