Thursday

I went to bed around 1:30 a.m.  Mom woke me at 8:30 a.m. to take her to an opthamologist's appointment that was at 9:00 p.m.  I told her I couldn't get ready in ten minutes.  She asked Dad, but he said he couldn't dress that quickly because his back was sore.  Mom drove herself.  I went back to sleep.  She called at 10:00 a.m. to have us pick her up, and then get her car later.  Since we weren't ready, she drove herself home.

After that, I did all the driving.  We went to the library, where I picked up books on the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.  We went to the grocery store.

When we got home, I worked on an editing job.

TallCR gave me Better Nate Than Ever and the sequel.

We went out to go swimming, and then to the farmers' market.  We stopped to get barbequed spare ribs.  I had gotten mu gu gai pan and our usual egg foo young the day before yesterday, so they're seeing me a lot there lately.  Generally we get dinner there once a week.

The print copy of "Lovesong" came.  It doesn't include the last few chapters, but I have the whole thing in PDF and in e-pub format.  The print fic left off at a good place, and has a bonus chapter.

I looked on Dear Author, and they had a free Samhain book featured in Daily Deals.  I got that, and a Carina book bundle that was on sale.  Carina is having some good sales.  In June it was a four-novella m/m romance bundle.  This was two novels in a bundle.

Later: I worked on the editing job some more.  I just want to read it over one more time.

I chatted with J.-PA for about an hour.
