Monday so far

I went to bed a little after 1:00 a.m.  It didn't take me long to fall asleep.  I woke at 9:30 a.m., then lay back down for fifteen minutes.

I checked Rainjoy's journal, and saw that she'd written an Affinity!Verse short piece on Friday.

Later: I went out to smell the roses.  They are in full bloom.

I got the "You're Not Alone" postcard for donating to a charity helping survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.  Part of the message is in Filipino.  I think one of the phrases is "thank you."

Slightly later than that: Biyuti isn't fluent in Tagalog, but she knew those phrases.  "Maraming salamat po" means "thank you very much," she said.  I had remembered that from a fan fiction in which some of the characters spoke Tagalog.  Biyuti said that "mahal kita" was something like "I love you."

I read a WWII AU fic by Knittywriter.  I think I may have read some of her fics before.  I am trying to remember if she's an Interlude Press author.

Later still: Mom and I watched "New Directions," the last of the McKinley episodes of the fifth season.
