Friday so far

I went to bed not long after 1:00 a.m. because I was very sleepy.  I don't think it took me long to get to sleep.  I woke up at 9:30 a.m., before the alarm clock.

The free Nook book was a dystopian YA.  I don't care for dystopian books at all.  Other free books listed on the blog were one on Windows 8.1, which I got for Dad, a romance, and a couple of inspirational books.  The Dear Author deals from yesterday were still good.  Two were free books.  One was a romance and one was a mystery.  I had read the mystery, The Hanover Square Affair.  Dad said he hadn't read it, so I got it.

Mom and I went to a Walgreens, and then to a grocery store.  I asked about printing out photos at the photo kiosk.  You can bring in a flash drive to print photos from, or a CD.  Maybe I'll print out some rose pictures in June.

When we got home, I made a fruit salad.

Later: Mom and I watched "The End of Twerk" and "Movin' Out."  Mom was not impressed with "The End of Twerk."  She liked "Movin' Out."

Dad said that the lilies in the front yard had been eaten.  I investigated, and the tops had been eaten off some of the tiger lilies.  I sprayed Deer-Off on what was left of the tiger lilies, on the daylilies, and on some of the roses.  A bud of 'Comtesse de Murinais' is opening.  That will probably be the next thing to get eaten.  Hopefully the Deer-Off will work.
