I tried to go to sleep around 1:30 a.m.  That didn't work.  I tried again at 2:30 a.m.  That worked better.  I slept until 11:30 a.m.

I made it to an appointment.

When I got home, I looked at the flowers.  'Mme. Zoetmans' has a few flowers open, and a lot of buds.  I took pictures of it, and of the sweet briar.  The Tradescantia 'Miss Kate' had a flower open.  I took a picture of that.

Brent e-mailed about The Real Story Project.  I told him I could do more proofreading or editing.  I e-mailed a few authors about contributing.  I saw that Ally Blue had written a story for the project.  Brent said that he'd seen "The Normal Heart."  I don't have HBO, but I read And the Band Played On some years ago.  It was very hard to get the word out about HIV/AIDS in the U.S.  There's a Tumblr account that's something like "normalheart-history" that is posting about the early years of the AIDS epidemic.  I am following it, and Letters from Titan is reblogging a bunch of stuff from it.

Later: I worked on an editing job.

I chatted with J.-PA for a bit.
