Dad and I planted the geraniums and the portulaca in the raised bed. Hopefully, if they don't get eaten, the portulaca will spread out and the geraniums will get big. I planted the thyme and the rosemary in pots in the back yard. I told Dad he could plant the basil with the tomatoes. I sprayed all the plants I planted today and the daylilies with Deer-Off. I think it's supposed to rain a good bit this week, so I'll have to go out and spray some more after the rain.
I don't have too much in the way of other plans for today besides planting flowers and herbs. The lilacs are starting to bloom.
I have the editing job that's due Friday that I could work on, really go over. I'll probably do that tonight.
I want to do a rewatch of "New New York," "Bash" and "Tested" so I can write something for Dennis.
Slightly later: I ended up going out and about. I went to Barnes & Noble, but I didn't buy anything. I went to Home Depot to look at what flowers they had. Mostly they were offering summer annuals, with Knockout roses and a couple of tables of perennials. I saw some orange lilies. We have so many tiger lilies in pots in the back yard, we certainly don't need more orange lilies. There was stock on sale. Stock is a favorite flower of mine. I got some nicely scented ones. The stock probably won't last long, but I'll enjoy it while it does. I asked an associate about pansies, and she said that they were done with them, but that they'd have them again in late summer for fall planting.
I planted the stock with white-flowered begonias, in two rectangular pots that were by the path to the front door. They made things there look cheerier.
Later: I saw that Rainjoy had updated the Three Musketeers fic again, a good long chapter, today. She's writing so fast. I don't expect the pace to last, but she put up a chapter, a short, and then another chapter in three days. That was the 24th, 25th and the 26th. She put up another chapter on the 28th. I don't know if it's coming easily to her, but apparently it's something she can write even when she's sick. I know Rainjoy says that she needs to write at least a little every day, that it's better for her psyche if she does. That wasn't exactly how she phrased it, but it was that idea.
Rainjoy says that it takes quite some time before Athos shows up, but Aramis knows with his precognitive psychic powers that there's an Athos. I expect there will be a D'Artagnon eventually, but Aramis hasn't seen him yet. Also I am guessing that one of the people trying to kill Aramis and Porthos is the Lady de Winter. This fic seems to be slowly leading up to the protagonists forming a circle of affinities. I don't know if they'll actually get to act as a circle in this fic, or if there will be a sequel.
Later still: Mom and I watched "The Role You Were Born To Play" and "Glease." I said that Kitty just keeps gaslighting Marley, and at one point even says that she's going to gaslight Marley every chance she gets. Then I explained "gaslighting" to Mom. It's after the movie "Gaslight." I said again that it had seemed like a very long hiatus between "The Break-Up" and "The Role You Were Born To Play." I'm looking forward to seeing "Dynamic Duets" and "Thanksgiving." "Dynamic Duets" was one of my favorite episodes of season four, up there with "I Do." "Thanksgiving" was where Kurt and Blaine started talking again, so that part of "Thanksgiving" was up there for me, too.
