Thursday so far

I went to bed around 12:30 a.m.  I think I fell asleep relatively quickly.  I woke at 8:30 a.m.  That gave me time to sit under the sunlight-effect lamp for a while.

I had my appointment with Dr. G.  I got a mammogram prescription, and scheduled that for May.  The first year I got one, they started checking me every three months with a mammogram and some other radiography scan -- ultrasound, maybe?  Dr. G. had Dr. A. (not the sleep specialist, but another expert in female parts) double-check after a couple of rounds of that, and Dr. A. said I didn't have anything cancerous.  But apparently the last mammogram I got was mid-May 2013.

I went to S.M.'s house after that appointment.  We went to a McDonald's for lunch.  S.M. had heard someone on TV said that they liked their tuna hoagies (submarine sandwiches).  I thought, "What?"  The people at McDonald's had never heard of McDonald's having tuna hoagies, either.  S.M. ended up getting a chicken wrap.  There could be a chain of relatively fast food that had hoagies.  Wawa (tri-state area convenience store) has hoagies.

S.M. and I ended up getting a relatively good amount done on her computer after that.  I downloaded the pictures I'd taken at the last couple of garden club meetings.  She printed out some she liked.  I helped her with e-mail and with copying and pasting.  I got her set up to write the garden club's President's Report.  I helped her navigate a website.  She was happy with what we'd gotten done.  I think it was everything on her list of computer things she wanted help with.

I plan to listen to the Lima Heights Adjacent podcast tonight, but I really don't have any other plans.  I asked Mom if she wanted to watch an episode of Glee tonight.  She said maybe after she'd gone to the Maundy Thursday church service.  She has off tomorrow.  I want her to watch "Props" and "Nationals" together, like they'd aired on the same night on the original air date.

Later: I listened to the Lima Heights Adjacent podcast.  I had a lot of thoughts and feelings, but I'll rewatch the episode and listen to the podcast again, and then send asks and/or an e-mail.

Mom and I watched "Props" and "Nationals."  She was kind of puzzled by Tina's imaginings of the character swaps in "Props."  She recognized that it was Cory Monteith playing Kurt -- and he did have the voice down -- and Mark Salling playing Blaine.  I pointed out that Darren Criss was playing Puck, though sadly he had no lines.  I found it hard to recognize him, but I did see the Behind the Scenes for "Props."  She recognized that Chris Colfer was playing Finn.  He really did have a lot of Finn's mannerisms down.

I said that I thought it would be good to watch "Props" and "Nationals" together, like the way they'd originally aired.  She was really in suspense as to who would win, New Directions or Vocal Adrenaline.  I said that I preferred the Queen version of "We Are the Champions."  I said that a lot of people were upset that Kurt and Blaine disappeared early on in the "Tongue Tied" montage.  Santana and Brittany had their celebratory kiss, though.  I thought Unique deserved the MVP.  This time I looked at Rachel's face when Rachel didn't win it.  I was rooting for Unique, though.
