I had Midnight Peony tea.
I would like to go to Longwood Gardens with the L. family. I am also supposed to meet up with P. at some point, but she's in New Jersey and didn't have a definite time for when she was getting back. I called A.L. and talked to her.
It was about 50 degrees F outside, so relatively balmy.
Later: I went to the library to wait for P. It was very difficult to find parking. P. called back and told me to meet her at her apartment building instead. It is also difficult to find parking there. P.'s sister dropped her off a few minutes later. So I saw P., as I said I would.
I headed over to the L. residence. A.L. and B.L. and I went to Longwood Gardens. Lots of other people had the same idea, as we were directed by the Longwood Gardens traffic control into a far lot. I had wanted to get exercise anyway.
The Orchid Extravaganza is still going on. I think it's very pretty in the conservatories. We went to the Peirce-du Pont house, too, and there were orchids there, as well. The cat that lives there was dozing next to a big pot of them. Mrs. L. took a picture. Mrs. L. and I took a bunch of pictures in the conservatories. It was hard to get pictures without people in them, but I think I got a few that were just of the flowers. I had a good time, and I think B.L. and A.L. did, too.
Later still: I taped "Funeral" and "New York." Dad was watching the Avengers movie in the other room, so I split my time between watching the TV episodes and watching the movie. I have most of season two on tape now, with the exception of the first fifteen minutes of "Sexy." I'm still not happy that they cut more bits out of the rerun episodes to make room for more commercials, but apparently it's a thing. I have all but three episodes of season three on tape. I'll see if I can tape those.
I did my proofing and beta reading.
