Even after that I was slow to get moving. I'd told Willa who neyronrose was, and she got back to me. I had fangirled over her books via e-mail, and in various places online. She said she hadn't known I liked her books. I had told her I really liked the Auspex series. I'm not sure if I told her directly that I liked the Tomcat Jones series. I had read Dona Nobis Pacem when it was originally published by Torquere. I think she had a story in the Shifting Sands anthology. I know she had a story in the Hearts from the Ashes anthology, and that was among the first books from an e-publisher that I read. I really liked the Dragons series, and liked the Screen Shots series, especially "Slinky."
I finally got out to go to J.-PA's grocery store and to get gasoline. J.-PA told me she was off, so I didn't see her. I get to that grocery store every so often. They have bulk foods. I got Dad trail mix. At least I got out of the house. I texted with J.-PA for a while. There will be another chapter in the Lovesong 'Verse. I'm looking forward to that.
S.M. had sent an e-mail about getting pictures from E.M.'s Christmas party and the garden club program on herbs. I had given her a number of them that we put on a memory stick. P.M. wants them to put in a yearbook. I called S.M. and P.M. and left messages. I said I could put pictures on a blank CD, and they could take the CD to a camera shop and have them printed out. We're supposed to bring in favorite photos of flowers for the March meeting. I have a bunch of photos of roses and other flowers that I'll probably put on a CD. I'm sure S.M. and P.M. will get back to me.
Later: S.M. and I played phone tag for a while, but I finally got a hold of her. She and P.M. are going to [semi-local town] to see a movie with Judi Densch. I told her they should stop by. She said P.M. has big shopping plans. I'll get a CD of garden club pictures to them sooner or later. I might just leave it at S.M.'s front door or whatever.
I watched the Avengers movie again and could pick out little details and dialogue that fan fic writers had incorporated into their stories. I'm still more familiar with the comic books, but I could see what the writers took from movie canon.
I fangirled over Julia's story some more. I started following Uly on Twitter.
