I had Midnight Peony tea, which is a black tea, in hopes of feeling perkier.
I picked up another editing job.
K. texted, so I called her, and we talked for about half an hour. I told her that Mom and I had been doing a Glee marathon, and that I couldn't believe that Mom was actually watching Glee. We talked about various other things. The women's group of the church my parents attend is having a potluck supper and a talk about women in the Bible. I'm not sure if I want to go out when it's dark and very cold out. We usually see deer at night on the roads between the house and the church. So I'm dubious about going out, but we'll see. I may really want to get out of the house by then, but I have plenty of editing to keep me busy. Also, I want to do laundry.
Later: I finished the editing job.
I got a good bit of laundry done.
Mom said she didn't want to go out again in the dark when it was so cold. That was fine with me. I can get more editing done. I have a number of novellas that are the previous ones in a series to the ones I'm working on to read, and novellas from previous series the authors have written, plus the editing job I was working on yesterday to go over again. That's not due for a couple of weeks, but there's no harm in working ahead.
Later still: I read the three novellas in the series related to the series that starts with the novella I'm currently editing. I went over the one I'm working on again. I'd feel good turning it in now, but I'll read through it again.
Mom and I watched "Mattress." I can't believe she's watched twelve episodes.
