I made it to an appointment.
I got a pair of the drawstring sweatpants I had ordered from Hanes. The pair I got were light gray. That pair fit, although I hope they don't shrink.
I stopped by the local Triple A branch to pick up tour books and maps. I got a guidebook to south Florida, and maps for the Fort Lauderdale area and the West Palm Beach area. Last time we visited Papa H. and H., we came into the West Palm Beach airport, but Dad said that the area where Papa H. and H. live is between there and Fort Lauderdale. It's not far from Boca Raton. I was thankful for every minute of warm weather the week in February that we were there two years ago. I don't think it went above 80 F, or not much above, but I don't think it went below 70 F, either, at least not during the day.
Dad and I dropped my car off at Firestone for an oil change and the coolant thing they recommended last time I had my car worked on. I went with Dad on his various errands, including going to the doctor's, which has moved to a location a couple of miles from where it was, for his allergy shot. At least now I know how to get to the new office, which I'm sure will be useful to me. Dad and I went back to the Firestone. He left after a few minutes to go to a grocery store, then home. I waited there for another two hours. I wouldn't have minded so much, because I had my e-reader and phone with me, but Fox News was on, and on loudly, in the little seating area. It was too loud for me to really concentrate enough to read. I had read a little bit of "Grey" at the doctor's office. Eventually my car was done. I know that in the future I will appreciate having had the car work done.
It was kind of a long day, but I got things done that I wanted to have done.
