I sat under the sunlight-effect lamp for half an hour, and read a bit more of Just Before Jazz: Black Musical Theater in New York, 1890-1915.
I looked to see how far Robinalaska's Tumblr post about Blaine's possible mental states had gone. One person liked what I said. Letters from Titan reblogged the original post, and she's a big name fan, so the post will probably get a lot more commentary.
I asked A. if he wanted to chat tonight.
I caught up with posts from medievalpoc. It's a Tumblr with artwork of people of color in Medieval Europe. Medievalpoc gets a lot of denial that there were people of color in Europe at the time, and I'm sure we only see a fraction of the asks of that nature. They say they get a lot of anti-Black messages.
Later: I texted back and forth for a bit with J.-PA. It looks like I'll end up getting two copies of "All the Other Ghosts" in print. I had specified that as one I wanted originally of the choices of fics, but I didn't get it. I got "Fix" and "Near Misses" in a package that had a big tear in the side and Post Office plastic wrapped around it. I eventually asked the Box Scene Project folks about it. I saw that they had extra copies of some of the fics, and requested "All the Other Ghosts." A couple of days later I got an e-mail from the Box Scene Project people that a copy to replace the one that had gone missing in the mail was on its way to me. That one arrived.
I told J.-PA that I'd give the second copy away, to someone who'd hopefully donate to a charity. J.-PA said she did. I said I'd send the second copy to her.
Later still: I talked to A. for about an hour.
