Tuesday so far

I tried to go to bed at 2:00 a.m. and lay there for a while.  I got up at 3:30 a.m. and tried to go back to sleep at 4:00 a.m.  I had actually set my alarm for 10:00 a.m., but I went back to sleep a couple of times, and finally got up at 12:15 p.m., which was not good.

I made it to my appointment with the doctor who specializes in sleep disorders and showed him my sleep log.  I said I had been taking the melatonin and sitting under the sunlight-effect lamp four or five days out of the week.  I said I'd set the alarm a couple of times, and then went back to sleep.  He said I could take two melatonin at night and see how that went.  We're going to try again to have me get up at 10:00 a.m.  He said I shouldn't put the alarm too near where I was sleeping.

I went to the Chinese restaurant with the buffet.  Just as I was getting ready to go, I ran into A.C., who I hadn't seen for a while.  I gave her my number again.  We caught up a little.  She said she'd call tonight, and we talked about getting together next week.

I got an e-mail from Samhain saying that a book I'd pre-ordered was ready to download.  It's a seasonal one by Heidi Cullinan.  I downloaded it.

Later: There are now letters replying to Fandom for Equality, and letters replying to those letters.  I still think that homophobia explains a lack of PDA, but that characters who are dating or engaged could do a bit more than hug in private scenes.
