I sat under the sunlight-effect lamp and read a little of one of the romance novels I'd gotten out of the library. I finished up an editing job and got another editing job to work on.
I went outside for a little bit. The mystery pink rose has half-a-dozen buds. It's supposed to be very cold tomorrow, so I don't know what will happen with the roses. Many have new leaves. The damasks and albas are hardy, and so is the mystery pink rose, but I always worry about the tea roses. I want to bring in the little bay tree. It's about a foot high, and could probably fit into a gallon-sized pot. It did very well over the summer in a pot that's perhaps 20 inches across, and a couple of feet deep.
The Christmas cactus is blooming. I guess it's more of a Thanksgiving cactus. I should take pictures of that.
Later: I read various fics, mostly ones I'd seen recommended on Tumblr lately. I looked at Preciousmellow's LiveJournal and saw that there was a new-to-me chapter of the Lovesong 'Verse. I re-read the last chapter posted of (Def)inition. There was a six-month gap between the posting of chapter sixteen and chapter seventeen, and another six-month gap between the posting of chapter seventeen and chapter eighteen. Chapter eighteen ended on a pretty good note, though. I follow Hedgerose, so hopefully I'll see her say on Tumblr when chapter nineteen goes up.
