I looked at what the free Friday Nook book was, and it didn't sound like my kind of thing. I may change my mind later in the day. From the few times I've remembered to check, some have been romances. I think there might have been a suspense-thriller, and there were a couple that were other kinds of non-romance fiction, including a YA book.
I went to the post office and mailed Stonewall by Martin Duberman to A. It wasn't a big trip, but I got out of the house and did something useful.
I looked at the mystery pink rose. It looks like the bud that's furthest along will take a few days yet to open fully. I think we may have a frost before then.
Slightly later: I saw a movie trailer for "Geography Club" on Tumblr.
Later: I went out to get dinner. It was cold today, so it seemed like a good day for soup. I got wonton soup. Sometime I've got to learn how to make it.
I re-read Geography Club and Order of the Poison Oak. I had forgotten how awful the kids were to each other in Geography Club. Even Russel was pretty bad sometimes.
I read Russel's part of Split Screen. I started to read Min's part, but J.-PA texted and I texted with her for a while.
Rainjoy updated "Grey." There are still things to be resolved, but this chapter didn't end on a cliffhanger.
