After I finally officially got up, I started moving pretty fast. I went to the post office to check to see if they had my copy of "All the Other Ghosts." I'm pretty sure I got that as one of the fics I wanted from the Box Scene Project's last charity drive. I got "Near Misses" and "Fix." I think that if I got "Fix," I would have gotten "All the Other Ghosts" as well. I probably wrote it down somewhere, but can't figure out where.
The person I spoke to at the post office checked in back, and said that there wasn't a book there with my address on it, and that if the package with the other books came all wrapped up in plastic like it had they knew the packaging had been damaged. I have "All the Other Ghosts" in PDF and e-pub formats. The Box Scene Project said they might keep fics available if you donate to charity, so if I don't get the fic in print format by November, I may donate for it again. I'm surprised I didn't get "Lovesong." I might get that one if that's still available on a continuing basis.
I went to Wal-Mart and got CD labels and pens, among other things. I went to the grocery store and got a quiche for dinner, and various things from the salad bar. They have cut-up melon, and if I get anything from the salad bar, I usually get that.
When I got home, I saw that Dad had dug up the jasmine that was in the raised bed. I think it's Jasmine humile 'Revolutum'. If it blooms and has yellow flowers I'll know for sure. It got pretty big over the summer.
Later: I listened to the F Yeah Glee Podcast "Lima Heights Adjacent" episode recap of "The Quarterback." The hosts were Ryan (firesnaps) and Axe, and the guests were Korydwen and Jimmy. They got through without crying, or at least not so much that they couldn't talk. They giggled about random non-episode-related things. I thought they covered the events of the episode well enough, considering. I like when they go through in the chronological order of what happened in the episode, but it's okay when they go plot by plot.
I did part of a rewatch before the podcast started.
Slightly later than that: I finished the rewatch. The people I've seen comment on Puck don't think he'll be back. The podcast folks thought that if Quinn had been there, she would have sung the song Mercedes sang. That hadn't occurred to me. I just figured it wasn't possible for all the actors to come back. Maybe Brittany will come back for a visit late in the season, or we'll see her next season. The actress had her baby. I was glad that what graduates could came back. I've seen people say that they could never watch the episode again, but I've done a couple of rewatches now.
I'll probably watch some of season four during the hiatus, since I got the DVDs. So far I've just watched jukebox songs. I did the season four rewatch during the summer, with the podcasts.
