Mom and I went to the library. I got a couple more books about the Philippines. The library system didn't seem to have a whole lot.
We stopped at Wendy's on the way back. I got a cup of chili. I hadn't called last night about it being missing from my salad, and I hadn't gotten a receipt anyway, so I just paid for the chili instead of trying to see the manager and tell them I hadn't gotten it last night. I had the chili with the salad when I got home.
S.M. was supposed to come at 1:00 p.m., then she called and said 1:30 p.m. Hopefully it won't take long to get her camera software set up.
Later: S.M. got to the house a little before 2:00 p.m. The camera didn't have a CD with software in the box, so we had to download the drivers and software from the Canon site. We downloaded the instruction manual PDF, too. It took about an hour and a half.
We went to a park and took a walk. We saw goldenrod and what was probably New England aster. It was a purple aster, and New England asters are wildflowers with a much greater range than just New England.
When we got back to the house, S.M. took a couple of flower pictures for practice, and we downloaded them onto the computer. I wanted to make sure it worked, after all that. She liked seeing the winterberry and the quince tree, and 'Duchesse de Brabant'.
Later still: I worked on an editing job.
