Wednesday so far

I tried to go to sleep relatively early -- 1:30 a.m., I think?  I finally fell asleep closer to 4:00 a.m.  Dad came in at 10:30 a.m. to tell me he was going to an appointment.  I don't know why.  It's not like I worry if I'm alone in the house.  I fell back asleep and woke at noon.

S.M. called me around 12:30 p.m. to tell me there was too much going on for me to come over to help her fix the font size on her document.  That's one of those things that's hard to explain over the phone, but easy to do in person.  Garden club is tomorrow, and then we'll probably get together next week sometime.

A. and I arranged to chat this evening.  I e-mailed him.  I only have twenty text messages left out of two hundred for the month, but thousands of minutes to talk.  A. said that text messages were free for phone companies.  He would know.

I took back the Kindle Paperwhite.  I saw yesterday that they were coming out with a new one.  You can pre-order it from Amazon.  The customer service person at Best Buy said you couldn't pre-order it there, but that it should be in the stores by early October.  I had already called the county library to ask if they could use a Kindle.  They loan out Nooks.  I'm sure those are very popular with library patrons.  I called the multimedia number.  I'm not sure if that was the right person to talk to, but I figured it was worth a shot.  I asked if they lent out books in .mobi or .prc format.  I know they lend out books in e-pub format, because I managed to put those on the Sony e-readers.

If the library can't use the Kindle Touch, I'll probably donate it somewhere else or give it away to one of my online book forum "friends."

I did a couple of errands, including going to the grocery store.  I got fish for dinner.  Mom and I like it, and it's good for you.  I made jasmine rice to go with it.

I asked for a new editing job to do.  I got it, and it should be ready for me to work on soon.  There should be an F Yeah Glee Podcast rewatch tonight, unless they already did it earlier in the week.

Later: I rewatched bits of "Wonder-ful," which I'd rewatched a few days ago, and rewatched bits of "All or Nothing."  I was fast-forwarding through the rest, which reminded me what had happened.  I watched Blaine talking to Burt about wanting to marry Kurt, and looking at engagement rings, and Blaine and Kurt having dinner with Jan and Liz.  Having Blaine have a ring box behind his back was a pretty big cliffhanger.  I've been folliowing Gleekto's spoilers, which she seems to be getting from the Brazilians.  (*reference to spoilers*)  I'm excited, but wonder whether the big Klaine scene will turn out to be a dream sequence.

Later still: I listened to the F Yeah Glee Podcast.  They themselves said they went "off the rails."  It wasn't too bad.  They got a little silly at times, but they've gotten a little silly on other podcasts.  The participants disagreed a fair amount with each other, but they were civil enough.  They discussed the episodes about as thoroughly as usual.

A. and I talked for about an hour.
