I went to bed a bit after 2:30 a.m. and woke at 10:30 a.m., which was good.

I went to the grocery store and picked up shrimp for dinner. I saw P. on her way out, and we talked for a little bit. I cooked jasmine rice after I got home.

Dad and I went to the library, and I paid my overdue fines. I do not know what is wrong with me that I can't read a library book in three or six weeks, depending on if I renew it. I can read a short novel in a day if I'm really motivated and have free time.

We went to the dollar store and got a get well card for Uncle D., who had an operation. I don't know the details of said operation, but Aunt P.S. had said he was scheduled for one, so it wasn't a surprise for them.

We went to a produce store.

I had asked for the shrimp to be steamed there at the grocery store, since they'll do that for you. It turns out that they season it, too. I think it was Old Bay seasoning. Mom thought it would be too spicy for her, but Dad and I ate the shrimp. I don't know what's with Mom being unable to handle even the smell of spicy food. Meals at home are usually extremely bland. I don't like touching raw meat, but I'll cook vegetables. Dad doesn't even want salt in his food anymore, so meals have gotten even blander. That was the only spice Mom used.

I did an editing job.

I proofread an article on a teenaged gay boy's coming-out process for my volunteer proofreading thing.

All in all, it turned out to be a rather busy day editing-wise.
