I went to bed around 2:00 a.m. I don't think it took me a very long time to go to sleep. I woke a little before noon. That was longer than I wanted to sleep. I continued reading some of Rainjoy's fics. This one was a fantasy, with magic. The first story in the 'verse had some horror elements, but it wasn't too bad. My horror tolerance is very low. The rest was more purely fantasy.
I read some of Axe's historical AU. It's a work in progress. It's set in 1895. It mentions the Everard bathhouse, which I read about in Gay New York.
I went out for a bit. The nasturtiums are looking good. The one in the raised bed have a lot more leaves than flowers, and the leaves are big. That's because the soil in the raised bed has fertilizer in it. The ones in the rectangular pots have smaller leaves, and you can see the flowers. 'Kazanlik' is about done. 'Ispahan' still has some flowers, and so does 'Rosa Mundi'. 'Maiden's Blush' still has a couple of flowers, but will be done soon. It's time to prune the Old Garden Roses.
Later: I read Lurkdusoleil's "Within." It was a fantasy medieval sort of world Beauty and the Beast story. The characters didn't have magic. It got a little more gory than I like in places, but my gore tolerance is generally very low and there were plenty of warnings. I enjoyed the story overall, though, especially the fluffy chapters.
I haven't read enough of Axe's stories to really judge, but Rainjoy and Lurkdusoleil could easily write professionally. There are plenty of markets for someone with Lurkdusoleil's talent for writing erotic romance stories.
