Tuesday so far

It's been pretty quiet.  I woke at 8:30 a.m., then dozed on and off until 10:30 a.m.  I looked online to see if Stone Butch Blues had been published in the electronic edition.  I had that it was due for publication on May 1st.  I saw there was an announcement that there was a delay, but that it should be out on July 15th.  I'll have to remember to check back then.  I noted it on my calendar.  I have a print copy.  I should see if people I know online really want to read it, because I could send it if it's to the U.S. or Canada.

I went out to smell the lilacs.  The first flowers on the white lily-of-the-valley are opening, the ones lowest down on the stalks.  The azalea is in full bloom, and I took pictures.  The sweet shrub has flowers open enough that I could smell their fragrance.  'Mme. Isaac Pereire' is in bud.  It looked like deer had been eating the tips of the canes of 'Ispahan', where it has new leaves.
