I called J. He said that he'd been to the Theatre of the Living Arts on South Street, and that you could walk there from Suburban Station. "Well, I could walk there," he said. "You'd probably want to get a cab. It's 4th and South." J. said he had a friend who lived a few blocks from the Fillmore Silver Spring, though J. himself hadn't been there for any concerts.
I'm halfway through A Midcoast Murder. I want to finish that soon. It's on loan to me for two weeks, and I'm not sure how long it's been. I believe it was published through Smashwords. PaperMoon said he really enjoyed the descriptions of cooking and food in the book.
I went outside for a little while in the afternoon. It wasn't as warm out as yesterday, but I was comfortable enough in a jacket. I forgot to post the other day that the perennial forget-me-not (Brunnera macrophylla) is blooming in the shade garden. It didn't look like any of the small roses had been eaten. I pruned dead canes off 'Kazanlik'. I'm afraid that's one that has rose scale. At some point I'll have to try putting rubbing alcohol on the canes of the roses I think have rose scale and seeing if the gray comes off.
I went out to the winter honeysuckle, which still has a few flowers open. The Judd viburnum is in full bloom. I'll have to get more pictures of that. The lilacs look like they will bloom in a few days.
Later: I finished the editing job. I may be a beta on a "Beyond Dapper" fic. That would be fun.
