Ms. F. had Bell's Palsy and problems with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar. She came to the door to let us in, but then went back and sat on her bed. P. worked on her TV, but Ms. F. wasn't getting many channels. Ms. F. likes the religious channels, where there are pastors preaching for hours. P. couldn't get any of those. P. had brought her iPad along, and was going to set me up with that to keep me entertained, but I'd brought my Nook, and read a little bit. I couldn't concentrate enough between TV and radio and people to read fiction, but I re-read some of the User's Guide. P. used her iPad to play a Bible game with Ms. F., one where you filled in a word from a passage of Scripture. P. and Ms. F. read from the Bible P. has on her iPad.
P. and I went out to Deals to get new pillows for Ms. F. There doesn't seem to be a grocery store near where Ms. F. lives, and she doesn't have a car. P.'s brother E. takes her on a big shopping trip once a month. After we got back from Deals, P. fixed Ms. F.'s hair while I read. Ms. F. lay down again. P. and I headed out. We stopped at a Wawa (tri-state area convenience store) on the way back north. We got back to where we live around 4:00 p.m.
It was cool and windy out today, but maybe tomorrow I'll work out in the yard. I'll probably listen to the Fuck Yeah Glee Podcast from this afternoon tonight or tomorrow. I missed this Saturday's Nook class, but I might go again to the Tuesday class. But I think P. was glad to see her mother again. P. had been down in Wilmington on Thursday when Ms. F. was in the hospital.
I have an editing job that I've gone through once. It's in good shape. It's due on Thursday. I'll probably go through that again tomorrow, and maybe turn it in early.
