Wednesday so far

I read a bit of Rapture last night.  I'd forgotten how ugly that world of fallen angels and demons was.  Not the best thing to go to sleep to, but I fell asleep probably not that long after 11:00 p.m.  I woke around 9:30 a.m.  It wasn't my most productive morning, but I eventually sat under my sunlight-effect lamp and read the first several chapters of Nine for the Devil.  I'm enjoying it.

I went outside for a little while.  It wasn't as cold as it was yesterday, but it was still pretty cold.  I went to the mahonia, which has quite a few flowers open now, and to the winter honeysuckle.  The minature daffodils near the crocus garden in front are blooming, and the 'Ice Follies' daffodils in the herb garden are starting to open.  A number of the roses have leaf buds swelling.  Aside from the crocuses being eaten, things are good in the gardens.

I want to watch "Moulin Rouge" and I have editing to do.

Later: I watched "Moulin Rouge" and finished up that editing job.  I feel like I was pretty productive after all.  The high school kids in the book were putting on a "Moulin Rouge" musical, though they had to cut some of the scenes from the movie and edit others.  I was able to comment on the play version in the book.
