Tuesday so far

I lay down a little after 1:00 a.m. and couldn't get to sleep.  I got up at 2:30 a.m. and wrote various things online until 4:30 a.m.  I don't really remember all I wrote.  Some were asks on Tumblr.  I hope that if I want them deleted that the people I wrote to will be kind enough to do so.  I think I basically made sense, though.  I woke around noon, groggy and headachy.

I had a podiatrist appointment, to see how I was doing, and to see how my sensible shoes were doing.  I am doing fine.  I'll get another pair of sensible shoes in a few months.  I looked at a catalog the first time around, and saw ones that looked like Mary Janes.  I chose shoes that looked like sneakers for the first pair, but I might go for the Mary Janes for the next pair.

After that I went to the grocery store.  I saw P. as she was leaving and I was coming in.  It was nicer out today.  P. said it had been snowing when she went to work and when she went home yesterday.  I think I told her that I'd gotten a lot of editing done.

I looked around outside.  Most of the snow had melted and the early spring flowers were fine.  The pink sweet violet flowers still looked good, although the leaves were floppy.  The winter honeysuckle and mahonia were fine.  Some of the yellow snow crocus had fallen over, but I think they'd just reached their time.  The Dutch crocus still looked good.

Later: I did the first editing run through a short novella.  I had some comments, but it's in good shape.  I feel like it's ready to go back now, but I'll look at it again in a couple of days.
