Monday so far

I got tired at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night, but didn't want to go to bed after only being up for twelve hours.  I stayed up a while longer and went to lie down a bit after 2:00 a.m.  Naturally, as soon as I lay down I was wide awake.  I think I fell asleep a little after 3:00 p.m., and woke at 11:00 a.m.  I'd like to wake earlier.  I guess I need to go to sleep by 2:00 a.m.

I sat under the sunlight-effect lamp mid-afternoon and finished the first part of The Velvet Rage.  As I posted before, this is the third time (at least) that I've read it.  This is my second time reading the second edition.  I read a bit of Dr. Fell: Found.  I'd read all those stories in e-book format, and in the print book.  It's my second time reading the print book.  I remember waiting for Attitude Adjustments to come out as a novella.  I think it was a Turn of the Screw book, so you could read it as a serial if you had a subscription, which I did not.  Dr. Fell had such feelings about Rob.  I didn't see what Dave's appeal was.  I liked twink, and I kind of got to like Tommy.  I didn't really see what Dr. Tanaka's appeal was, though.  He seemed so harsh, and it didn't come across to me that he was explaining things before Tommy did something wrong.  He only explained afterwards.  I liked Nestor.  I thought there were supposed to be more stories with him.  I look every so often, and I haven't seen any more.

I realized that no-one could really compare to Rob in Dr. Fell's mind.  Dave was pretty manipulative, though, and he lied sometimes.  I wouldn't think that would make for an appealing boy.  He wasn't mean like Laurie or Colby.  I kind of got to like Pol.  He had a good, if twisted, sense of humor.

I went to the grocery store in the afternoon.  It was rainy and cold.  We're getting some snow now.  I was glad I didn't have to go out again.
