I sat under the sunlight-effect lamp and started reading The Velvet Rage again. This makes for at least the third time I've read it. I still think it explains much about how Blaine acts. I got a copy for S., too, because I thought it would also be useful for a real person.
I've been out twice so far. I did a couple of errands, including stopping at the grocery store. I picked up sushi to have for dinner. It was sleeting, or maybe it was hail. What would have been rain if it were warmer was tiny balls of ice. Then Dad and I went out. The sleet had stopped by then. There was a promo at a grocery store that if you got a certain amount of groceries you could save on gasoline. Today was the last day for it. We went to the gas station that participated. The way Dad directed me to go, you had to make a left turn into the gas station. There were probably a dozen cars waiting to turn right, and more joining them every minute. I've never seen lines like that at a gas station. I gave up, since I couldn't even turn into the gas station. I still have a quarter tank left, and I don't need to go anywhere else today.
It's been snowing on and off. While I think it was good for me to get out of the house, I don't want to drive any more in this weather today.
Later: K. had texted me right around the time I was going to bed and I missed it. I gave her a call around noon and left a voicemail. She called back in the evening and we chatted for a while.
