Thursday so far

I fell asleep shortly after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday night.  I think I know why.  I hadn't even been up for twelve hours.  I slept very lightly.  It was more dozing than sleep.  I'm not sure if I ever went into a deep sleep, but I remember dreaming.  I woke at 5:30 a.m.  I sat under the sunlight-effect light and read some of Kamikaze Boys.  I'm about halfway through it.

The computer automatically updated, and it knocked me offline.  Other computers in the network are still online, but it's frustrating.  I still have all my e-books and everything.  I'm considering putting iTunes on the computer in the living room.  Since it's the same network, I should have my music.  I think it will work that way.

Slightly later: I installed iTunes on the living room computer.  Once I signed in, I had all my music from the iCloud on there.

Later: Dad fixed my computer.

Later than that: I went out.  It was cold out.  I took pictures of the snowdrops and the snow crocus.  The winter honeysuckle and mahonia are still in bud.

I finished Kamikaze Boys.  It got a lot more serious for the boys than I thought it would.

I posted about Unique's line in "Girls (and Boys) on Film."  (http://neyronrose.tumblr.com/post/45363239601/likeasouffle-uniques-line)  She said, "Unique knows all there is to know about 'The Crying Game.'"  That reflected a line in the song: "I know all there is to know about the crying game."  It was a pretty dark movie reference, considering.
