There was a pancake dinner at the church my parents attend. I ate quickly, and left before dark. The drive home from church is pretty terrifying in the dark, because of the deer. We've seen them in the road more than once on the trip back. I got stuck in rush hour traffic on the busier roads, but I had music to listen to. I'd lost some music when my computer crashed, but apparently I have an iCloud now, and I have that music back.
Using that recovered music, I made a CD with, among other things, Pansy Division songs on it. I'd gotten them all as iTunes songs. Most of the songs are off "The Essential Pansy Division." I also have "That's So Gay" and their cover of "Breaking the Law," which goes "breaking the law, the sodomy law." It's dated now, thankfully, but it must have made a statement at the time.
P. called, and we talked for about half an hour. She said that now that she has an iPad, she's getting songs from iTunes. Gospel music, P. said. I talked to her about how you can make CDs. I said there was a way for a family to share music. Her brother C. is borrowing her laptop. I think he likes gospel music as well. I told her there should be a way for her to have her iTunes on the iPad and laptop.
The Westminster Kennel Club dog show is on, and I watched bits of the first hour. I'm taping 9-11 p.m. for Mom, who's watching the State of the Union address.
