Later: The snow melted. Mom and I went to the library and I paid my fines. We went to the grocery store. I got a lot of cut-up melon and some bread pudding from the salad bar, and stocked up on Greek yogurt. I ate some of each of those things when we got home, then sat under the sunlight-like lamp for a while. I read a bit of Alien 'n' Outlaw. Into the Garden with Charles came from Amazon, so I started that, too. So far Skipper has talked about a number of Old Garden Roses that I've grown or attempted to grow.
I'll text S. soon. We saw P. at the grocery store. She was busy, so I just said that I'd give her a call later.
Later still: I'd started to read Alien 'n' Outlaw by K.C. Burn, and then saw that Spice 'n' Solace came first in the series. I got Spice 'n' Solace and read that, then read Alien 'n' Outlaw. They were cute stories. They were published by Carina. The "about the author" blurb says that K.C. also has books published by Loose Id and Dreamspinner. Sometime I'll have to look for those.
