Likeasouffle's beginning of a new story is awesome. I want to give the narrator hugs.
Not too much else going on, but at least I made it to that appointment. Mom's getting physical therapy now because her shoulder's been hurting her so much, and she's having me time her while she does her exercises at home. She talked about going to get a timer, since she can't find the one she had. She thinks she got the last one at the dollar store. Maybe we'll get there tomorrow.
We still don't know what we're doing for Thanksgiving, though we'd like to see J. and K. J. has to work at midnight or something on Black Friday, so we can't do an evening thing the day of Thanksgiving. Mom got a frozen turkey yesterday, but says it will take a few days to thaw.
I've been seeing pictures from Glee's New York filming. (*spoilers*) Kurt and Rachel were out together. Rachel was physically very affectionate. A few commenters said it was too bad that Kurt never got to be that cuddly with Blaine. It wasn't safe in small-town Ohio, but it would have been nice if they'd gotten the chance to do that in New York. On a lighter note, Blaine's apparently going to be ice skating. It's pretty easy to tell when it's Blaine and when it's not, because Blaine's hair is so ruthlessly gelled.
There's official promo out of Blaine singing with the Warblers in this Thursday's episode. Also in the episode, the McKinley characters dress up as superheroes. I'm curious to see it. Artie's superhero character is based on Professor X. I read a lot of X-Men comics in my time. I'm not familiar with the other characters' characters.
Slightly later: Mom said that J. and K. were coming for lunch tomorrow. It will be nice to see them. Presumably they'll bring Morris. Morris is really a nice little dog.
Later: I've been downloading books from Fictionwise, which is, sadly, going to be shutting down. I think I had all of the books in PDF format, but didn't necessarily have them in the other formats. I definitely didn't have any of those in .mobi format. I put a few books on my Kindle, including the Lord and Master books.
I had gotten 85 books from Fictionwise. I downloaded at least 25 tonight in a couple of formats each. I'm not sure if I'll return to the project tonight or pick it up another day. I've got to get it done in the next couple of weeks. If I can do it, I'll transfer my library over into the Nook for PC app I have after I download the other formats I want to. I'm not sure if that will work or if you actually have to have a Nook.
Later still: I looked at my phone at 11 p.m. and saw that K. had texted me to see if I was around at 7 p.m. I texted back, she called, and we talked for a while.
