I finished Conduct Unbecoming. I liked it. I saw the Dear Author review, which was a C+, but I realized I'd like some of the things they didn't. I'd pre-ordered it weeks before I saw the review. I posted on AE that I'd read it. The thing with the "Gay Books -- What We're Reading in 2012" forum is that several of the romance readers don't like it if there are a number of sex scenes in a book, so I warned that for people who don't like sex scenes, there were some in Conduct Unbecoming. Of course, that's a draw for other readers, perhaps some on AE.
I went out to the mystery pink rose and cut the open flower. I couldn't find floral preservative, and I know I got a few packets of it. Well, it should last for a day or so anyway.
Later: I got and read Search Me. It's in the same series as Cover Me, which I'd read some time ago. Search Me is the third in the series. I hadn't gotten the second one because the blurb talks about grisly murders, and I'm not much for grisly murders. It apparently has Nick and Andrew from the other books in the series in it, though, so I'll have to think about it. Maybe next time I go book shopping. I still have a couple more of L.A. Witt's books I own and am partway through. They're just so long in the .lrf format. I've read several of her books.
Later: I read Bad Company. I'd been slow about reading it because it seemed from the blurb to be a Gay for You book. It was the book that introduced Eli of Bad Boyfriend, so I wanted to read Bad Company first. I liked Bad Company in its own right, though.
