Rosa rugosa alba is blooming, and I took pictures of that. It's the white version of the species. Rosa rugosa has dark pink flowers. There's a hedge of Rosa rugosa alba around the herb garden at Longwood Gardens.
I vacuumed and did a good bit of laundry. Considering that I didn't fall asleep until 6:30 or 7:00 a.m., woke at 11:30 a.m., and went back for a nap between 12:30 to 2:00, I'm truly stunned by how much I got done today.
I watched part of "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" again. I've learned how to work the DVD player downstairs now, too. I think tonight I'll watch the rest of the episodes on that disc of the DVDs. Later: I watched "Yes/No," "Michael" and "The Spanish Teacher." I hope David Martinez appears in future episodes, so Blaine can appreciate how handsome he is. Kurt certainly thought he was hot. Kurt's reaction was priceless.
When I first saw "The Spanish Teacher," I was horrified by Beiste telling the boys to wash a certain place. According to a recapper, that's not a conversation it would be legal for her to have, which made me feel better. Also, Sue was asking the boys for sperm donations, which I think was another illegal conversation. She didn't want Kurt to donate, and said to him, "Let the strangeness end with you."
I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with more of my marathon tonight, or wait until tomorrow to pick up with the episodes on the fourth disc of the DVD set. At this rate I'll be done my marathon in a few days.
I also plan to read the novellas/novelettes in a series related to a novella I'll be working on.
Later: I read four novelettes in a series that may be connected to the editing job I'll be working on after my current one. I'm working ahead.
