Monday so far

Monday is turning out to be expensive.  Dad and I dropped my car off at Firestone to find out why the fan wasn't working, and to get it inspected.  We ran a couple of errands, including going to Wal-Mart, where I got more printer paper and dividers for binders.  Getting the fan fixed and the inspection done will be around $300.  At least the inspection will be done for the year.

Aside from that, I'm just reading the usual things online.

"Maggie" and 'Mme. Isaac Pereire' are blooming.

Later: Dad found some coupons, so the Firestone bill was $200.  (Tuesday: It will be $250.  I paid the $200.  The $50 went on the Firestone card.)

Fifty Shades of Gray was actually mentioned on the news.  I haven't read it, but I've seen it explained that it was originally fan fiction about Twilight, which I haven't read either.  In the alterations for it to be published fiction, the Edward character was changed so instead of being a vampire, he's into BDSM.  Also what I've heard is that the conflict is that the Bella character is vanilla, and wants the Edward character to be as well.  From what I understand, that's really not how it works.

I couldn't believe the book was mentioned on the news, though.
