I had a small drawer for shorts in one of the bureaus, and made another drawer that was a T-shirts drawer into a T-shirts and shorts drawer by sorting out T-shirts to donate. I had put some sweatpants and sweatshirts in a bin to go in the shed, and cleared out a drawer for the rest. The box the shorts were in became a "flannel nightgowns" box.
I went out to the roses and took a few pictures of them. 'Mme. Zoetmans' is nearly gone by, and the few blossoms left have thrips. Well, I enjoyed it while it lasted. 'Mme. Plantier' still has some flowers. 'Ispahan' still has a lot of flowers, and 'Maiden's Blush' has a fair number of flowers open and a number of buds that will open soon. It started to rain a bit about twenty minutes or so after I ventured outside, and I took myself and the camera back inside.
I've been reading the usual blogs I read. I'll go through some of Vampire in Suburbia again tonight. Uly went over the proofreading and line editing comments I made pretty quickly. He doesn't know about the technical/hardware side of self-publishing, but he's published several books through traditional publishers before.
Later: Mom and I went to K-Mart and then the grocery store. I got another two storage bins and a few T-shirts from K-Mart. I know that I'll put my afghans in one storage bin. I had enough room for the T-shirts, but I think I'll do another round of going through the old ones. I got sushi, fresh fruit and bread pudding at the grocery store, so I had dinner and dessert all taken care of.
I watched the graduation episode of Glee again. I wish they'd had more reaction from Kurt about not getting into NYADA, whether it was with him talking to Burt or to Blaine. Otherwise, I am basically okay with Kurt's future up in the air, because it should make some good drama. I can see why they'd have a cliffhanger with a popular character.
