Mom and I went out shopping around 10:00 a.m. or so. It wasn't that hot out. We went to the produce place first. Then we stopped off at the dollar store so I could get a belated birthday card for S.M. I never remember when people's birthdays are. Well, I remember the birthdays of my immediate family, but that's really about it. I got a glow stick fairy wand, too, because you never know when you might need one.
We went to Wal-Mart. I got the Stephanie Plum movie "One For the Money." I've read at least through Smokin' Seventeen in the books. I have a few of the Between-the-Numbers books, too. I was a fan of Janet Evanovich when she was writing category romance novels. They had some comedy in them, too. The Stephanie Plum novels can get pretty racy, considering that they're mainstream books.
I also got a plastic storage container for my comforter. I'd washed my comforter a few days ago, and put it in a big plastic bag. Now that it's in a box, it can go out to the shed for the summer. Dad went into the attic and found one of my fans. I had a little one on the computer desk, but I put the one he found between the central air vent and my bed, to help the air circulate. I cleaned all the dust off of it, so now it's good.
I went out to the roses and took some pictures. A lot of blossoms on 'Leda' are open, and a fair number on 'Botzaris'. Several flowers are open on Rosa Mundi, and a few open on 'Maiden's Blush'. 'Maiden's Blush' has a lot of buds, some showing color. I remembered that it was a lovely shade of pink. I had forgotten that it was the best-scented of the alba roses I have. It was getting hotter by then.
I went through the pictures on my camera and deleted off the blurry ones, and the ones where half the flower was out of the picture. I'd taken a fair number of pictures on mildly to moderately windy days. This gave me more space again on the memory card. I'll probably go out again today and use up some of that space. I still want to get some good pictures of 'Salet'. That's one that reblooms, so I'll get more opportunities.
