TV again

Crown of weeds linked to this: http://delires.livejournal.com/46464.html

It explains that Glee is not "dramatic theater" but "epic theater."  It was kind of like in a comment on a post (on Dear Author?  SBTB?) where LesleyW said that the Black Dagger Brotherhood books were Urban Paranormal Sagas.  I took that and wrote it down.  I don't know about theater, but the thought that Glee was a different kind of theater than the usual on TV made sense.  Viewers are supposed to be unsettled and come away trying to make their own conclusions.  If that's what they're trying to do, it seems to be working very well.

I'm glad to have the proper labels for "cracktastic" works of fiction.  "Cracktastic" was re the BDB, but I think it applies to Glee, too.
