how much of the spectrum

Kris started a series on Kris 'n' Good Books by asking how much readers want about "GLBTQQ" issues in their m/m romance.  I commented with "same-sex love" as a narrower phrasing of what issues we were talking about.  Some m/m romances don't even deal with gay rights issues, and in many books the rest of the rainbow is off the map.

I'm fine with m/m romances that just stick to issues specifically faced by gay men.  To me, a romance doesn't need to cover every other issue.  I've been watching a few blogs and news items about whether minorities should take on fighting for the rights of every other minority.  The opinion often seems to be "no."  I seem to be more inclusive than some, but my focus isn't universal.
